The UNITROL 1020 is a powerful controller, usually based on RS485 or RS232 asynchronous serial communication protocol for bus mode communication.
In the application object scale, it is mainly used in small automatic control places, such as the control of equipment or a small amount of analog control and interlocking. Although
the concept is not quite accurate, it is customary to refer to systems greater than 600 points as DCS, and systems smaller than this scale as PLC. UNITROL 1020 is similar to DCS in system
