The IS220PPROH1A is an I/O module for turbines. It is designed to provide a direct interface to specific turbine site equipment. This setup eliminates or reduces much of the instrumentation previously required to connect to field equipment, and also improves operational reliability and reduces long-term maintenance. The IS220PPROH1A is usually used in conjunction with the TREAH_A terminal board for emergency trip applications in aircraft modification turbines. The assembly can be connected to fence or box terminals. The IS220PPROH1A has field wiring limits for voltage detection, limiting cable length to 1,000 feet of 18 AWG wiring. Note that the IS220PPROH1A cannot be automatically reconfigured when swapping BPPB P-Pack with BPPC P-Pack.
The IS220PPROH1A has a built-in front panel marked with the component ID number and several LED indicators. They are placed in pairs on the front panel. The first pair is labeled PWR/ATTN, the second pair is labeled LINK/TxRx and ENET 1, and the third pair is labeled LINK/TxRx and ENET2. The last component is located at the bottom of the panel; This is labeled as an IR port.
