The IS200VRTDH1D is a GE Mark VI board component. The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic gas turbine and steam turbine management series developed and released by GE from the late 1960s through the early 2000s. This turbine management line started with Mark I and has gradually become more technologically advanced. The Mark VI includes a triple redundant central control module connected to a PC-based operating interface. This operator interface allows turbine data to be accessed from a single location using software designed for turbine control.
The IS200VRTDH1D is an RTD (Resistance Temperature Device) input. The board accepts 16 three-wire RTD inputs, but these inputs are not directly connected to the board. Instead, the input is connected to the RTD terminal board and via cable to the VME rack where the IS200VRTDH1D is installed.
The IS200VRTDH1D has a single slot panel. Three LED indicators are installed on the panel to indicate run/fail/status. The colors of leds are green, red and orange. The panel is attached to the main PCB using three screws.
The IS200VRTDH1D is component-intensive. Circuit board capacitors (more than 200) and resistors (hundreds) and more than 200 integrated circuits. This includes field programmable gate arrays (FPgas). The inductance beads of the board are distributed in several lines. It drills holes in multiple locations, including around a specific mounted chip.
