The Trusted?TMR expansion processor module is located in the Expander chassis in the Trusted processor slot and provides a "slave" interface chassis baseboard between the Expander bus and Expander. The expansion Bus allows the use of multiple chassis systems to enable unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable connections while maintaining fault-tolerant, high-bandwidth IMB (Inter-Module Bus) functionality. The module provides fault containment enclosures for the extender bus, the module itself, and the extender, ensuring that the impact of these potential failures is localized and system availability is maximized. The module has fault tolerance of the HIFT TMR architecture. Comprehensive diagnostics, monitoring and testing provide rapid fault identification. Hot backup, module backup supports configuration, allowing automatic and manual repair policies
