　　The MOTOROLA IPMC712 / IPMC761 multifunction I/O module is an optional module that can be provided backwards for compatibility with earlier MOTOROLA Computer Group (MCG) products using the MVME761 or MVME712M transition board. Early MCG products included the SBC of the MVME2600 and MVME2700 series.

　　IPMC712 and IPMC761 can be installed and used on the SBC of the MVME5100. Both models are designed around the PMC form factor and two modules integrating PCI/ISA Bridges, ultra-wide SCSI adapters, and super I/O functionality. Both modules are single-width, standard-length, standard-height PMC boards. They connect to the motherboard PCI bus P11, P12, P13, P14, and P15 connectors via PMC. Both modules absorb +5V and +3.3V voltages through PMC connectors.
