TP867 is a communication module related to the Triconex safety system, a safety system solution for 

industrial process control and automation.

The TP867 communication module supports a variety of Triconex protocols and applications, as well 

as user-written applications. It has an Ethernet (802.3) network interface and supports communication 

protocols such as TriStation, Modbus TCP, and OPC. In addition, the TP867 supports RS-232 and RS-485 

serial communication, allowing communication with devices using the Modbus protocol, such as the TriStation 1131.

The main function of this module is to implement system diagnosis, user control program execution, 

and communication with other devices and systems. With its enhanced Intelligent Communication
