There are many CPU models in the MicroNet digital control family, and this particular model 5466-409 is a Pentium CPU. Typically, models in the MicroNet family can operate in redundancy or simplex mode, but this module can only operate in a simplex system, and after installation it will be located in an extension rack of the case. When a Pentium CPU is located in an expansion rack, it must be used with the primary transceiver (XCVR) and the remote XCVR.
