For the 1769-BOOLEAN module, there are interfaces and circuits for receiving and processing Boolean-type signals to implement specific control functions. For example, it may receive Boolean

 signals from sensors and control the actions of the actuator based on the state of these signals.

Sensing technology is a multi-disciplinary modern science and engineering technology about obtaining information from natural information sources, processing (transforming) and recognizing 

it. It involves the planning, design, development, manufacture/construction, testing, application and evaluation of sensors (also known as transducers), information processing and identification. 

Specifically, sensing technology senses the surrounding environment or special substances, such as gas, light, temperature and humidity, the human body, through various types of sensors, including

 physical, chemical or biomass sensors. These sensors can convert analog signals into digital signals, which are then processed by the central processor. Eventually, these digital signals will be converted

 into various parameters, such as gas concentration, light intensity, temperature and humidity data, for people to use.

The principle of sensing technology is based on the conversion relationship between physical quantities and electrical signals. Sensors generate electrical signals by detecting changes in physical 

quantities. For example, a rheostatic sensor uses the resistance value of a resistance element to change with a physical quantity, so as to measure the change of the physical quantity.
