The 1756-L84E is equipped with integrated communication ports such as (1) Ethernet I/P. The embedded port supports 10/100/1000 Mbps transfer speeds and can be used to communicate with Human machine interface (HMI), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and other controllers over information instructions within the same Ethernet. The USB port is USB 2.0 that supports 12 Mbps communication speed.

The 1756-L84E has a built-in user memory of up to 20MB. Extended non-volatile memory can be installed using the 2GB Secure digital (SD) card 1784-SD2. This controller does not require a battery to hold the contents of volatile memory, as it comes with a modern energy storage solution that eliminates the need to use a battery, making the controller user - and environment-friendly.

The 1756-L84E ControlLogix 5580 controller from Allen-Bradley is a high-performance controller with up to 128,000 I/ OS that enhances machine automation and improves performance.
