The PXLE-1073, also known as the NI PXIe-1073, is a PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) chassis manufactured by National Instruments (NI) and designed for test and measurement applications. It offers a high-bandwidth backplane and the integrated MXI-Express controller in a compact, robust package that runs virtually silent, making it ideal for portable and desktop systems.

The chassis has five slots, two of which are PXI Express slots and three are hybrid slots, which can be used for various I/O modules. The PXIe-1073 offers PXI chassis bandwidth of up to 250 MB/s, and the backplane is fully compliant with PCI timing and synchronization standards for PXI modules. It also includes a 10 MHz reference clock with an accuracy of ±25 ppm, jitter of less than 5 ps, and a maximum interslot offset of 250 ps. In addition, the PXIe-1073 features an automatic/high fan speed selector to maximize cooling efficiency and reduce acoustic emission.
