The IC698CMX016 is a PACSystems RX7i control memory switch module manufactured by Emerson Automation (formerly GE Intelligent Platform (GE IP)). The module is used to share deterministic data between PLCS over a fiber optic network. The module is a single slot module with 16 MB of reflected memory with parity. It has a fiber optic port designed for LC type connectors and supports 2.12 Gbaud data transfer. The module supports the connection of up to 256 nodes through the Daisy chain connection of the FO cable.
