The industrial Ethernet switch IS420ESWBH3A is part of the Mark VIe security control system designed by General Electric. The switch does not have any fiber ports, but has 16 copper ports, which are 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports. The primary operation of the switch is performed as a Tier 1 Ethernet switch, the core of which is the ability to buffer multicast and broadcast packets. There should be enough space to allow one packet buffering per port; If multiple incoming streams are sent to the switch, it can only accept one of the multiple incoming streams and will buffer the remaining streams for later transmission.
The IS420ESWBH3A switch has an LED indicator. There is a power LED and the rest of the leds are active and link functions. When the link LED is steady yellow, it means that the 10 MB link is in use, when the green is steady on, it means that the 100 MB link is in use, and no LED light means that there is no link. The color of the active LED is also green and yellow, but they will flash, when the LED flashes green, it means that the activity is in a full duplex state, and when it flashes yellow, the activity is in a half duplex state.
