IC697CPM790-GD is a programmable logic controller (PLC) CPU module.

This CPU module has a single slot width and is designed for critical applications such as emergency shutdown systems, fire, gas and other safety-related applications.

Features of IC697CPM790-GD include:

Triple media redundancy (TMR) is supported to improve system reliability and stability by integrating independent C programs to achieve automatic test routines.

Comes with 1 MB of battery backup memory, of which up to 512KB is available, for configuring user programs written in the ladder programming language.

When configured in simplex mode, support for any combination of discrete input and output points up to 12K, and discrete input and output of 2048 votes.

Capable of handling analog inputs and outputs up to 8K, and can handle any combination of analog inputs and outputs when running in simplex mode, with 

1024 voting analog inputs simultaneously.
